This 41-year-old female presented to our clinic with concerns about the appearance of her chin and neck. On examination, it was noted that her chin was proportionally too small for her face, that she has excess fatty tissue in her submentum (area below her chin), and that the angle where her chin/face meet her neck was very blunted.
To address her concerns, a chin implant, liposuction and submentooplasty were recommended. The before and after photos demonstrate the remarkable improvement in her chin position and neck contour. Take note of the improvement in the angle between her submentum and neck in the oblique view. The profile view is the best to see her new chin position and excellent neck contour.
