This 27-year-old female presented to our clinic with concerns about the size of her chin and the appearance of a “double chin.” On examination, it was noted that her chin was proportionally too small for her face and that she had excess adipose tissue in her submentum (area below her chin).
To address her concerns, a chin implant, submental liposuction, and submentoplasty were recommended. The before and after photos demonstrate the remarkable improvement that she achieved in her neck and chin contour. Take note of the improvement in her submentum in the frontal photo and the improved chin position and neck contour most notable in the profile photo.
