Rhinoplasty and Dermal Filler
This is a 45-year-old patient who presented in clinic with concerns regarding her jowls, tired appearance of her lower eyes and the aesthetic improvement of the nose.
On exam she was found to have an isolated tear trough a.k.a. orbital groove and volume loss around the mouth and in the prejowl. Regarding her nose, she was found to have contour deformities on the frontal view with a bulbous and dependent tip. The lateral view, showed an overprojected, underrotated nose with a dorsal convexity. She underwent Restylane injections to her lower eyelid troughs, Juvederm injection in the perioral area and a rhinoplasty.
As you can observe in the frontal before photo, patient demonstrates tired bags under her eyes. Her frontal after photo proves the improvement in the dark circles. Also notice the marked improvement in the marionette lines and the nasolabial folds in the frontal after photo. This treatment has given the patient a soft and natural look.
In regards to the rhinoplasty, her lateral before photo shows the drooping tip with overprojection and the bony dorsal hump and the frontal shows the bulbous tip and the dependent appearance just under the tip obscuring the upper lip. The lateral after view shows a beautiful new dorsal contour with slight elevation of the nasal tip and hump reduction allowing the nose to blend into the patients face and demonstrating her beautiful facial features. The frontal view shows better facial harmony with the tip elevation and narrowing as well as contour improvement in the dorsal nasal lines.
