Dr. Hudson Frey
Originally from the Mississippi Delta, Hudson Frey, M.D. attended Mississippi State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology. He then attended the University of Mississippi Medical School where he served as his class vice-president. During medical school he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society which recognizes excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion, and dedication to service as well as the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society as a senior inductee. He graduated medical school Cum Laude, an honor given to those who graduate within the top 5%.
Dr. Frey completed an internship and residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center where he gained valuable experience training in a top tier high-volume medical center. During his training, Dr. Frey performed a wide range of both functional and cosmetic head and neck procedures, and ultimately found his passion in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Following residency, Dr. Frey pursued a highly competitive fellowship through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and was fortunate to match at his top choice program in Austin, Texas with Dr. Edward Buckingham and Dr. Erin Smith.
Dr. Frey enjoys spending time with friends, running, live music, CrossFit, and trying unique food. He is excited to take care of patients at the Buckingham Center for Facial Plastic Surgery.
