This 64-year-old female presented to clinic to discuss facial aging concerns. On physical examination, she had generalized facial volume loss including the upper eyelid sulcus. She has a history of a previous Facelift with another surgeon and the incision lines had somewhat widened especially in the back of the ear. She also suffers of a significant cobra neck deformity from her previous facelift and has asymmetric fat grafting to the upper lip.
The patient elected to proceed with a Revision Facelift and Full Face Fat Transfer. Her frontal after photos demonstrate the overall youthful restoration that can be achieved with both procedures. When observing her lateral and oblique photos, notice the difference the fat transfer has accomplished. How the cheek now projects and has been raised into a more youthful position and creating a smooth transition between the cheek and lower eyelid. Also, notice the brow and upper eyelid. The brow has more youthful fullness and the upper eyelid hollowing is resolved. This view also demonstrates the striking improvement to the jawline and neck giving her a smoother contour.
