Lower Blepharoplasty, Fat Transfer, Full Face TCA peel
This patient is a 64-year-old female that presented in clinic with concerns about her tired appearance with specific concern of her lower eyelids. The patient’s before frontal and lateral photos exhibit findings of the physical examination. The lower eyelid was found to have a disproportionate amount of fatty tissue and midfacial volume loss is visible in her oblique before photos. She has more volume loss on the left than the right due to either a slightly displaced malar bone or soft tissue volume loss due to trauma. The patient elected to undergo a transconjunctival lower eyelid blepharoplasty, full face autologous fat transfer with additional attention to the left cheek and chemical peel of the lower eyelid skin.
The after photos display a refreshed appearance resulting directly from the lack of excess tissue under the eyes and smoothing the contour of the lower eyelid depression with the patient’s own fat. The patient’s own fat was transferred to rejuvenate most of the face but more particularly the orbital rim, cheeks, nasolabial folds, forehead, temple, glabella, upper perioral area and the pre-jowl sections of the face. The patient is very happy with her results.
