Upper Bleph, LILF, Fat Transfer and TCA
This 55-year-old female presented in clinic with general aging concerns. On physical examination, she was found to have bilateral upper eyelid skin laxity with her right side being slightly worse than the left. She was also found to have A-frame deformity (volume deficiency) of the upper eyelids with the left side being worse than the right. She had facial volume loss throughout, her lower face demonstrated jowling and neck laxity. To address her concerns, we performed an upper eyelid blepharoplasty, full face fat transfer which included the upper orbital sulcus, full face chemical peel and a limited incision lower facelift.
When observing her frontal photos notice how she looks significantly younger and her eyes appear almost wider. The brow has fullness restored and the upper eyelids have less skin, but more volume from the transferred fat. By completing the TCA chemical peel the patient achieved compelling results to her perioral and forehead wrinkles. The lateral views best demonstrate the smooth appearance to the jawline and neck providing her with a smooth contour. One can also appreciate the improvement in the cheek and lower eyelid junction.
