This 52-year-old female presented in clinic with interest in facial rejuvenation specifically concerned with her neck laxity and jowling. She has a history of a submentoplasty (liposuction to the neck) approximately 4 years ago. On examination, she has significant jowling and mild cervical laxity.
When reviewing her lateral and frontal photos, notice the significant improvement to the jawline and neck area. The lateral views best demonstrate the improvement to the neck eliminating the heaviness and giving her a natural contour. The correction of the jowling as well as the conservative tightening of the lower face skin no longer attract the viewer’s eyes and actually accentuates the now smooth neckline.
