This female patient in her early 40s presented with age-related volume loss in the body of the lip and a blurring of the vermilion border. The clinical goal was to restore anatomical definition and improve hydration levels to achieve a more youthful, "plump" aesthetic without compromising natural dynamic movement.
Rene’ Thomas, RN injector utilized a multi-modal injectable approach to address both structure and volume. Restylane Eyelight was selected to scaffold the lip periphery, reinforcing the Cupid’s bow and restoring the structural integrity of the border. Following the contouring phase, Revance RHA 2 was injected into the vermilion body. The resilient hyaluronic acid (RHA) technology was chosen for its ability to integrate into the tissue, providing soft, hydrated volume that adapts to the high-mobility demands of the perioral region. The combination treatment successfully addressed perioral thinning and dehydration. The patient achieved a refined, youthful appearance characterized by crisp definition and a resilient, hydrated fullness.
