Rhinoplasty and Nasal Obstruction
This 40-year-old patient presented in clinic with desires to correct both cosmetic and functional nasal concerns. He has a history of a nasal septoplasty with another physician, but still has significant nasal obstruction. In the regards to his cosmetic concerns, he was found to have a bony deviation, a bulbous tip, a moderate dorsal hump and a hanging columella.
His frontal before photos demonstrates a slight deviation, and the lateral photos show the dorsal hump and hanging columella. When comparing his after views. The lateral shows the marked improvement in the size of the nose and the relationship of the dorsum as well as the hanging columella. The frontal after view demonstrates how the nose is much straighter and balanced. Overall, the patient is extremely pleased with the outcome of his procedures.
