Rhinoplasty
This 31-year-old female presented in clinic with cosmetic and functional concerns regarding her nose. She was found to have a significant septal deviation with left-sided obstruction at 95%. She also has external deformity with dorsal deviation, tip assymetry, a moderate dorsal hump and a hanging columella and tip.
She underwent an open rhinoplasty with nasal septal correction, placement of spreader grafts and significant cosmetic alterations.
The laterals after photos display the striking improvement to the size of the nose. Notice how the long appearance has been corrected by altering the hanging columella and rotating the nose. The dorsal hump has also been reduced and her profile is generally much improved. Her frontal views demonstrate the improvement in the deviation of her nose which now has much improved symmetry both in the dorsum and tip.
