Limited Incision Lower Facelift, Full Face Fat Transfer
This patient is a 53-year-old female who is interested in facial rejuvenation specifically for her lower face. On physical examination, she has generalized volume loss evident in the patient’s before oblique photo as well as an asymmetry of the upper eyelids. Her frontal before photos indicate her lower face has mild to moderate jowling and mild to moderate excessive neck skin without significant excess of submental fat or platysmal (neck) banding. She additionally has significant furrows between hers eyes in the glabellar area creating a heavy appearance to her eyes. To address her concerns, she elected to undergo a limited incision lower facelift, full face fat transfer and Botox.
The patient’s after photos indicated are at 9 months post-op. The transformation of the patient’s appearance is remarkably natural. Her oblique after photos highlight the exceptional volume rejuvenation achieved. The once hollowing contours in the mid-portion of the face have been restored. Especially note the corrected asymmetry in the upper eyelids with the fat transfer to the full face particularly in the temple and upper cheek/lower eyelid areas. Also, notice the great improvement in the contouring of the patient’s neck and jawline in the lateral after photo. The patient was very pleased with her overall result.
