This 61-year-old female was concerned primarily with the appearance of her jawline, neck and marionette area. She also inquired about improving the appearance of her lower eyelids. On physical examination, she has Fitzpatrick III facial skin. Her lower eyelids have protrusion of the fat pad slightly worse on the left side. She also has lower eyelid and cheek volume deficiency. Her lower face shows moderate jowling and marionette line formation with mild cervical laxity and a low hyoid bone position. To address her concerns, Dr. Buckingham discussed limited incision lower facelift, transconjunctival lower eyelid blepharoplasty and lower eyelid and cheek fat transfer. The patient ultimately decided upon the limited incision lower facelift which only required oral sedation and had minimal downtime. The patient is very happy with her results that gave her a youthful yet natural jawline and neckline as well as minimizing of the pronounced marionette lines.
