Rhinoplasty
This patient desired cosmetic improvement for her nose. She also had difficulty breathing through the left side of her nose and was found on exam to have a deviated septum with 90% blockage. Her frontal before photo indicates slight bulbosity to the nasal tip with separation of the dome cartilages. The lateral view best demonstrates her down turned nasal tip with slight decreased projection (distance from the cheek to the nasal tip) and a large dorsal hump. She underwent a cosmetic and functional septorhinoplasty.
Her after photos demonstrate great overall improvement with the elevation of the nasal tip and slight narrowing on frontal view. Significant improvement in the overall size and the relationship between the dorsum and tip is evident from the lateral view. The patient is very pleased with the results of both the cosmetic and functional adjustments made.
