This patient presented with severe left sided nasal obstruction from a septal deviation that was involving his entire septum including the dorsum. He also desired cosmetic improvement. His frontal view shows a collapsed upper lateral cartilage on the right with an apparent dorsal deviation as well as a bulbous tip. The lateral view shows his dorsal hump as well as slight chin underprojection however he did not desire a genioplasty (chin implant).
He underwent an open septal reconstruction where the entire septum was removed, reconstructed on the operating table and then replaced as a straight piece. He also had a cosmetic rhinoplasty performed to adjust his profile as well as straighten the nose on frontal view and improve his tip.
