Hemangioma
This young patient developed a severe proliferative birthmark called a hemangioma during her infancy. She was placed on steroids for several months to slow its growth and hopefully prevent it from affecting her vision. She then presented to Dr. Buckingham who stopped the steroids and treated the lesion with laser therapy. The after photo is following three treatments with a special vascular laser.
