Lower Facelift, Upper Blepharoplasty, Dermal Filler
This patient is a 48 year-old female who was concerned about the appearance of her nasolabial folds, upper eyelids and lower face including the jowl and neck. On physical examination, she had a moderate amount of upper eyelid redundant skin, prominent nasolabial folds and a hollow anterior to her marionette lines. She also had moderate neck laxity with early platysmal banding. After discussion, the patient elected for an upper blepharoplasty and full lower facelift. She also had some Juvederm placed in her nasolabial folds.
Examination of the frontal before and after photos indicates a marked improvement in the overall tired and sagging appearance to her face. The lateral view demonstrates the remarkable improvement in the appearance of the patient’s neck and jawline. She no longer has the hanging skin that once caused her concern. The oblique views show that the patient has an overall more youthful appearance. The heavy skin above the eye has been removed giving the patient a restful and rejuvenated look.
