Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty, Facelift and Full Face Fat Transfer.
This 62-year-old female presented in clinic with concerns to her lower face, eyelids and facial volume loss. On physical examination she was found to have adequate brow height however she was found to have excess skin on the upper eyelids. Her lower eyelids had a prolapse of fat throughout and she had orbital and malar grooves as well as generalized facial volume loss. To address her concerns, we discussed upper blepharoplasty, with medial fat removal, transcojunctival lower eyedlid fat removal, full face autologous fat transfer and a lower facelift with plastysma plasty.
Her after photos best demonstrate her beautiful result. The frontal views best demonstrate the overall youthful appearance that was achieved. The addition of volume to her cheeks has restored the heart-shaped face of youth. The oblique views demonstrate the effects of volume replacement by smoothing the cheeks and giving her a smooth contour. The lateral views show the significant improvement to the jawline and neck.
