Lower Facelift, Lower Blepharoplasty, Chemical Peel, Fat Transfer.
This patient is a 56 year old female who presented with concerns over the tired appearance of her lower eyes as well as neck sagging and jowling. She underwent a lower facelift with microliposuction of her jowl, lower eyelid blepharoplasty with chemical peel, and facial fat transfer.
Her 6 months post-operative photos are presented. Comparison of the frontal before and after shows how before surgery she had a classic double contour of the lower eyelid with a deep orbital groove creating the appearance of an elongated lower eyelid. The cheek is flat and she lacks facial width. You can also appreciate the neck sagging and jowling. On the after photo the cheek has been augmented with fat and now the lower eyelid cheek contour is more pleasing giving the eyelid a natural youthful short appearance. The face overall has better contour and the neck and jawline are clean. The oblique view again shows how the cheek now projects and has been raised into a more youthful position and creating a smooth transition between the cheek and lower eyelid. The jawline and neck are also significantly improved. The lateral view shows the significantly improved neckline as well as the anterior cheek projection and now lack of a double eyelid contour.
