Endoscopic Browlift, Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty, Full Face Fat Transfer.
This 48 year old patient is concerned about the age related changes that are occurring with her eyes. Examination of her pre-surgical photos demonstrates a low forehead and eyebrow appearance with redundant skin of the upper eyelids. Her lower eyelids appear concave without puffiness, but because of the hollowing in the area where the eyelid joins the cheek, the eyelids appear long in the vertical direction creating the appearance of aging. To address these areas the patient underwent an endoscopic brow lift, upper eyelid blepharoplasty and fat transfer to the lower eyelids and cheek.
Comparison of her photos shows a beneficial improvement in the height of her brow and the appearance of the upper eyelids. She now has skin showing above the lashes and can wear eye shadow without the upper eyelid skin concealing the makeup. The eyes appear brighter and more youthful. The fat transfer has augmented the hollowness of the cheek/eyelid junction. The cheek mound has been moved superiorly and given the lower eyelid a shorter appearance. This high junction of the lower eyelid and cheek creates a youthful lower eyelid appearance.
