51 year-old female patient with premature facial aging. On her preoperative frontal photograph, you can appreciate moderate jowling, however, it’s not until you evaluate the lateral view that you can see the significant neck angle loss, sagging of the neck and her prominent jowling. Her degree of jowl and neck aging is more advanced than her objective age.
To address her concerns, she underwent a lower facelift. The postoperative lateral view shows a dramatic, yet natural result that restores and perhaps even improves beyond youth, her neck angle. The oblique postoperative view further illustrates the improvement in her jowls and marionettes, leading to a sharpened jawline.
The postoperative lateral view also demonstrates the nearly invisible scars from the well-placed incisions.
She is now 3 months out from her procedure and is thrilled that her natural beauty has been restored.
