Facelift
This is a 55-year-old patient who presented in clinic desiring an aesthetic improvement of her neck and jawline. She has a history of an upper and lower blepharoplasty with another physician. Upon physical examination and evident in her before photos, she has significant sagging to her neck and jowling with a difficult neck due to the low position of her voicebox.
The patient decided to undergo a facelift and is very pleased with her more youthful appearance. The lateral photos demonstrate the significant improvement to the severe sagging of the neck. This procedure has given the patient a more smooth jawline and neck with a very natural appearance. Also, notice how incisions are barely perceptible by being hidden around the ear and hairline without distorting the position of the hair or ear.
