Lower Blepharoplasty, Upper Blepharoplasty, Endoscopic Browlift, Limited Incision Facelift and Fat Transfer
This 65-year-old female presented in clinic with facial aging concerns. Her primary concerns were lower face, brow height, upper and lower lids, volume loss in cheek region and perioral lines. On physical examination she was found to have a significant brow drop, excessive skin to the upper and lower lids with very little orbital fat. If you notice on her frontal before photos, she was also found to have orbital fat prolapses in the nasal and middle compartment which creates a deep orbital groove with generalized cheek volume loss. Her lower face demonstrates jowling with mild platysmal banding. To address her concerns we recommended an Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty, Endoscopic Browlift, Limited Incision Facelift and Facial Fat Transfer.
When observing her frontal photos, notice the volume restoration in the cheek, brow and temporal region. The brow, upper and lower eyelids are now not only elevated but also fuller with the convexity of youth now catching light and making her appear well rested. The lateral photos best demonstrates the smoothness to the jawline from the Limited Incision Facelift. Also, notice how the incisions are barely perceptible by being hidden around the ear and hairline area. In general, the combination of procedures provided her with a youthful yet natural appearance. As fat transfer is not typically successful around the mouth the patient would benefit from some post-operative filler of the residual nasolabial folds and marrionette lines.
