Endoscopic Brow Lift, Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty, Full Face Fat Transfer and Rhinoplasty.
This 55-year-old female patient presented in clinic in cosmetic improvement for her upper and lower eyelids as well as her nose. She does not have any breathing concerns.
On examination of her pre-operative photographs she has significant brow descent with a sad appearance to the lateral aspect of the brows. Her upper eyelids have significant excessive upper eyelid skin giving her overall upper face the appearance of heaviness. She has long-appearing lower eyelids which gives her a tired and aged look. Notice on the lateral view that there is not a significant fold of lower eyelid fat, but rather a hollow. This creates a shadow which needs to be improved with volume restoration. She additionally has some volume loss of her cheek area. Examination of the nose shows a dorsal hump and a bulbous nasal tip.
She chose to undergo an endoscopic brow lift, upper eyelid blepharoplasty, full face fat transfer and rhinoplasty. Her postoperative frontal view demonstrates the relief of heaviness to her brow and upper eyelids as well as narrowing of her nose. Also note the subtle improvement of her cheek contours. Her lateral view shows a prominent filling of the anterior cheek as well as the dorsal refinement of her nasal profile. Again referring to the frontal view, observe how the lower eyelid now appears shortened and more youthful. Close-up, the view of her eyes also shows these features. The close-up view of her mouth also shows some improvement in her nasolabial fold lines which is not consistent with fat transfer due to immobility of this area however in her case she has a nice result.
