This patient consulted with Dr. Frey about her general aging concerns, specifically with her lower neck and submental region. She was unhappy with the appearance of excessive adipose tissue in that area and desired a more defined jawline. Additionally, she had stretched her earlobes bilaterally in her youth and no longer wanted that aesthetic aspect. To address her concerns, Dr. Frey performed a neck lift, also known as a platysmaplasty, with submandibular gland reduction. In the same surgery, he performed a bilateral earlobe repair to restore a natural earlobe presentation. The patient is very pleased with her enhanced beauty with a smoother and refined jawline and contoured neckline. The bulging under her chin is now smooth and gives her face a lighter, more aesthetic appeal. Her earlobes no longer draw the eye and have a natural look.
