A woman in her mid-60s visited Dr. Buckingham to address signs of aging in her lower face and neck. She had previously undergone a facelift in 2011 and an eyelid lift in 2016 with a different surgeon. During the physical examination, Dr. Buckingham noted sagging along her jawline, drooping in the middle of her face, and loose skin under her chin. However, he also observed that the underlying structure of her neck and jaw bone was very favorable for surgery. Based on these findings, he determined she was an ideal candidate for a limited incision lower facelift. When reviewing her photos three months after the procedure, the results were truly remarkable. She achieved a completely natural appearance, looking refreshed and youthful without any telltale signs that she had ever undergone plastic surgery.
