Rhinoplasty
This is a 22-year-old female who desired cosmetic improvement for her nose. Examination of her photos preoperatively demonstrates her concerns which included a wide bony dorsum and tip as well as an overly long nose with a deep dependent infra tip lobule (the area of the tip which hangs down over the lip). Her nose was additionally slightly under rotated and she had a slight mismatch between her tip position and the cartilaginous dorsum.
She underwent a cosmetic rhinoplasty which included a slight reduction of her dorsal cartilaginous hump, reduction of the width of her upper lateral cartilages, placement of alar rim grafts and medial and lateral osteotomies.
Her postoperative frontal view demonstrates a nice narrowing which has been achieved at both the tip and dorsum. Her lateral view demonstrates better tip dorsal proportion as well as slight rotation of the nose and reduction in hanging appearance of the lobule. Overall the nose has a much more balanced appearance and no longer draws attention.
