Lower Facelift, Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty, Full Face Fat Transfer, and Full Face Chemical Peel
This 60 year old female desired facial rejuvenation from age related changes. On physical examination it was felt that her eyebrow position was good, but that her upper eyelids had significant excess skin. Her lower eyelids appeared long and tired, but unlike most individuals with puffy eyelids hers were quite hollowed out. Her cheeks showed the classic signs of facial volume loss with flattening and loss of the youthful fullness. Her jawline and neck demonstrate the usual signs of gravitational insult. To restore her youthful appearance she underwent an upper eyelid blepharoplasty, lower facelift, full face autologous fat transfer and full face chemical peel.
Her after photos demonstrate her result. The frontal view shows how the procedure restores her overall youthful appearance. The addition of volume to her cheeks restores the heart-shape face of youth and replaces the drawn hollow face of aging. The eyes are brighter and more youthful. The oblique views highlight the effects of the volume replacement with now smooth cheek contours and a shorter appearing lower eyelid with a higher cheek-eyelid junction. The lateral view best shows the improvement in the jawline and neck, but also shows again the improvement in the lower eyelids.
