Fractionated CO2 Laser 80% and Upper Blepharoplasty
This is a 67 year old female who came into clinic desiring an overall improvement for facial skin aging. She had also expressed concerns with the heavy appearance of her upper eyelids.
On physical examination and evident in her before photos, she has significant facial aging especially in her perioral area. She has deep marionette lines with prominent jowls. Her upper eyelids have significant eyelid dermatochalasia, better known as excess skin. She has elected to proceed with Fractionated CO2 laser and Upper Blepharoplasty. The laser was used at an 80 % coverage mode for the face, but the upper lip was treated with two passes at 95% due to the significant rhytids.
The before and after photos demonstrate the remarkable improvement of her skin. The CO2 laser treatment has softened and given her an even-toned appearance. The heavy skin above the eyes has been removed giving the patient a rejuvenated look.
