This patient in his late 60s came to Buckingham Center looking for the expertise of a facial plastic surgeon to address his concerns with the droopiness of his upper eyelids, the hollowing under his eyes, and the deep expression lines that had formed over time beneath his eyes and in the crow's feet area. He consulted with Dr. Buckingham. With over 2 decades of experience addressing facial aging concerns for his patients, he felt at ease knowing he was in the most capable hands. Upon physical examination, Dr. Buckingham found the patient had upper eyelid dermatochalasia, volume loss in the lower eyelids without bulging fat pads, and significant periocular rhytids. To address his concerns, he recommended an upper eyelid blepharoplasty, partial fat transfer to the lower eyelids, and a TCA chemical peel resurfacing under the eyes and lateral eye area. At his 3-month post-op appointment, the patient was very happy with his youthful, rested appearance. The skin and volume had been restored and he retained a natural yet rejuvenated look. His photos show the significant improvement Dr. Buckingham was able to achieve with this multi-procedure approach.
