Upper Blepharoplasty
This patient is a 61-year-old female concerned with the heavy appearance of her upper eyelids. She presented for surgical improvement. Upon physical examination, her upper eyelids had significant upper eyelid dermatochalasia otherwise known as excess skin. She underwent an upper blepharoplasty.
This patient’s before-and-after photos demonstrate a remarkable improvement in the appearance of her eyes, bringing an overall rested appearance to her face. She no longer has an angry look from the redundant skin and fatty pockets drooping onto her eyelashes. This blepharoplasty, as an isolated procedure, allowed the patient to return to social activity in about a week.
