This patient in her late 50s came in to talk about signs of aging on her face, specifically focusing on her forehead and lower jaw area. Upon evaluation in consultation, her eyebrows sat quite low across her whole forehead, and she had a naturally high hairline. On her lower face, she had "jowls" sagging along the jawline, a bit of extra fat under the chin, and loose skin on her neck with visible vertical muscle bands. Mild laxity and wrinkling was visible when the patient's face was at rest.
To address her concerns, Dr. Hudson Frey performed an endoscopic forehead lift, a lower facelift with platysmaplasty, and a procedure to tighten the neck muscles. She is doing great after the surgery and loves her results. Review of her after photos shows her neck and jawline are now smooth, and the loose skin under her chin has improved beautifully. Her eyebrows, especially at the outer corners, are now higher and look much more refreshed yet natural.
