Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty, Facelift and Partial Fat Transfer
This 63-year-old patient presented in clinic for an evaluation regarding facial aging concerns. On physical examinations and evident in her frontal before photos, she was felt to have adequate brow height, however, she was found to have significant upper eyelid skin excess and hooding. Her lower eyelid demonstrated orbital fat bags and deep orbital grooves with general facial volume deficiency. In her lateral and oblique before photos you can notice the heaviness of the neck and jowling in the jawline.
She underwent an upper and lower blepharoplasty, lower facelift and facial fat transfer. By comparing both her frontal photos you can observe her overall improvement. Notice the restoration of volume to her cheeks and how her eyes are now brighter. The brow and upper eyelid are fuller and the redundant skin is no longer present. The lateral and oblique photos demonstrate the improvement to the cheeks as well as to the neck and jawline achieved with the lower facelift. In general, she is much more youthful in appearance with restored facial volume and natural contouring of sagging tissue without a “done” appearance.
